There's nothing quite like a fresh batch of cookies straight out of the oven! They're sweet, soft, and oh-so-delicious. And the best part? This recipe is super easy! ｡: ﾟ૮ ˶ˆ ﻌ ˆ˶ ა ﾟ: ｡
Today’s recipe: Sugar Cookies!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup sanding sugar OR sprinkles (your choice!)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375∘.
2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
3. Combine the butter and sugar until fluffy.
4. Add the eggs and mix until well combined.
5. Add in the vanilla extract.
6. Add in the flour mixture until it forms a tacky dough.
7. Form balls of cookie dough, around 1/8 cup, or 2 tbsp.
8. Coat the dough ball thoroughly with sanding sugar or sprinkles.
9. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
10. Enjoy!
These go great with milk, and if you pop them into the freezer for 30 minutes, you can use two cookies and some ice cream to make an ice cream cookie sandwich! I hope these cookies make you smile! ૮ ˆ ﻌ ˆ ა
