𝔅𝔩𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔩𝔲𝔰𝔱 𝔅𝔞𝔩𝔩 𝔐𝔢𝔯𝔠𝔥🦇་༘࿐ 𝔑𝔦𝔠𝔬 𝔅𝔡𝔞𝔶

Hello everyone, Maid Nico here ~ We are 22 of days away from my 507th birthday event! The 𝔅𝔩𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔩𝔲𝔰𝔱 𝔅𝔞𝔩𝔩. I am so excited for our Masters and Princesses to see what I've been cooking for some time now ~ What I really want to dive into and explain is my merchandise and the thought process behind it all. So let’s get started (㇏(•̀ᢍ•́)ノ) ⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘ 1. 𝕸𝖆𝖎𝖉 𝕾𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖊 This is actually something many Masters and Princesses have asked for! Also, who doesn’t love a good ol’ standee. However, I am not particularly fond of the smaller size standees. I like to be able to see them better out of the corner of my eye when I’m gaming. So that’s why mine is bigger - 13cm (5inch)! One aspect I absolutely had to have was the base of the standee to be my vampire sigil. That just makes the most sense ⚰️ 2. 𝕸𝖆𝖎𝖉 𝕾𝖙𝖎𝖈𝖐𝖊𝖗 I wanted Toki to draw this sticker as she is behind most of our graphics! (Guao!! She works so hard T^T) I also just wanted her to be involved in some way for my birthday event since she is immune to my vampire transformation. I think she created a vampire vaccine during her bday for herself and that’s why I can’t recruit her ! >:c

3. 𝕮𝖍𝖊𝖐𝖎 𝕾𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖊/𝕶𝖊𝖞𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖎𝖓 𝕳𝖔𝖑𝖉𝖊𝖗 Waaaaaaay back when I had dinner with Toki, I think this was in 2022?? (Wow everything is Toki LOL) We were eating some giant xiao long bao. She had asked me what kind of merchandise I would like to have for my birthday in the future. I immediately knew. I wanted a cheki stand holder!! I love to display my photos on my PC desk, but all the keychain holders have to be propped up by something to stay standing, so that makes it difficult to arrange around my figures. Solution? Just make it like an acrylic standee LOL! As time passed however, I realized I still wanted this potential cheki stand to double as a keychain. As I see many of our masters and princesses also bring their cheki holder keychains with them when they come back home to us and prop them up on drinks. I expressed this to Mikan when we were hanging out one day and she said, “So, why don’t you make it both?” And so, ¿Por qué no los dos? Now you can bring this cheki holder around on your bag, and when you want to hit that oshi katsu - BAM! You pull out the base and you can keep it standing. At first, I went through different shape designs. Ultimately, I landed on a coffin shape as I thought that would….match more :) I tend to wear the same color palette all the time: Black, white, gray and red. So I knew I wanted that to be the color palette for this as well. And as a matter of fact, all of my merch. I wanted gothic architecture elements, roses,and vines. Luckily, we have amazing artists here at Asayoru Maid Cafe. So I reached out to Aki! I gave her a very VERY rough sketch of my vision LOL! For those of you who don't know, I am not much of an artist ^^;;

To help her understand the picture in my head a bit more - I said it’s very Rozen Maiden inspired! I’m quite late to this anime, but I discovered it earlier this year and I like it a lot!!! I think it matches my vibe a bit, no? (I am patiently waiting for the english manga to release). After some sketches from Aki, some back and forth, we were done! The chibi bday outfit Nico was done by Toki though! Since she had done my sticker, I wanted her to keep similar projects. Aki also incorporated a more Tim Burton inspired look to it, which was really so perfect! 4. 𝕳𝖆𝖕𝖕𝖎 𝕮𝖔𝖆𝖙 I was very in between not making this piece of merchandise. Talking to Sae though, she convinced me. I like to bounce ideas and ask for opinions most times, in doing so with our Head Maid - she said she thought I should. To have more faith in myself. So, I took a leap of faith…. And ran to Mitsu LOL

This process was very similar to the cheki standee/keychain. Same idea and concept, but this time I wanted blood dripping to be involved. It’s my favorite thing to include in my chekis with everyone ^^ I also thought it would be really cool to add in my birth year, so that’s what 1519 is doing there.

The back and forth process with this design was longer compared to any other piece of merchandise on my list. I also gave Mitsu a very…. VERY rough looking design XD along with some inspiration photos.

Mitsu honored my requests and created a rough draft based on everything I asked her. When I saw it - I didn’t like it LOOOOOL ! I said, and I quote, “Maybe I let you take creative lead”. We talked back and forth, Mitsu showing me some general photos to better get an idea of the vibe I was aiming for. The lace and distressed overlay of the happi was Mitsu’s idea though!

I really do love the end design, so I am glad I ended up doing this and trusting Mitsu. After all, like I always tell my tattoo artist "You're the professional, not me.” So I'm glad I trusted this artist in the same way. 5. 𝕭𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝕾𝖊𝖙 Now my bromide set this year is very special to me, It’s another one of those ideas I've had since 2022. Without a shadow of doubt, I needed a hearse and casket for my bromides. Some people have asked me what I would have done if I couldn’t get a hearse and casket for my photos...

I guess we’ll never know.

6. 𝕻𝖆𝖘𝖙 𝖕𝖗𝖊𝖉𝖊𝖈𝖔 𝖌𝖆𝖈𝖍𝖆 𝖉𝖗𝖔𝖕 𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖊𝖘 This was also Sae's suggestion! I actually had discovered some of my pre decos from last year’s birthday with Indigo (the horse LOL) under my bed that I had missed. I was really bummed out because I thought I missed the opportunity to give them a new home. But boss said I could try for next year! So here we are. Not just Cowboy Nico predecos, but all kinds of past events you may have missed out on. I thought it would be fun to state them as drop rates. Numi (White Chocolate Uniform) Common - 28% Pirate Outfit  I think I would have to categorize the S.S.N Pre Deco as the chase LOL! I don’t see myself making any more pre decos of myself in that uniform at all. ⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘ I am so very thankful to everyone who made this merch possible and the event overall! I am over the moon to see these ideas come to life finally and I’m excited to see everyone’s reactions to them in person 𓆩♡𓆪
