A couple weeks ago we celebrated our beloved tenshi's birthday together ♡ This year she made it extra enchanting with a Love Apothecary theme 🧪🤍 and from what i saw that day it certainly captivated our goshujin and ojousamas ! For those not in attendance, unfamiliar with maid birthday events, or looking to relive a sweet dream, let me walk you back through the laboratory ☆

I dont know if anyone plays idolm@ster Shiny Colors, but the Love Apothecary theme was heavily inspired by the group Alstromeria. Their Halloween cards have been on the cheeky witchy/apothecary side while their usual style is pink, floral, and very idoly🩷 Mitsu's event merged the two concepts perfectly, offering sweet and dreamy while at the same time showing all of us a unique saucy appeal, the chosen performance song "Give me some more" (by Alstromeria) definitely made everyone in the crowd swoon~ the balloon decor was very cute, i haven't seen the cafe that pink in a minute & our apothecary was wearing a super cutesy Malymoon piece (also worn by legend maid Hitomi!!) with the added hat that our maid Mikan made to go with it! A lot of chekis i took that day specifically asked for oneshots that showed off the outfit! I think it'll be a favorite Mitsu outfit for many now, great choice!

As for dining, each seated guest got a special placemat & coaster drawn by an artist Mitsu really likes and designed by Mitsu herself♡ (she also does graphic design for the cafe v often) Even just placing the placemat and coaster down was really fun for me because the reactions were so big, I encouraged everyone to roll theirs up and store them immediately for preservation purposes (im lookin out for you). On the menu we had Mitsu's Dessert & Drink (only available when ordering Deluxe combo)

Love Potion N⁰104: A wonderful tenshi love potion left in the hands of our apprentices, hmmm i did not witness any lab accidents myself... good job everyone! + potion bottle you can take home♡

Fizzy, fruity, and refreshing with a sweet strawberry twist

Melty Choco Cake: Delicious and rich chocolate lava cake, rave reviews!! Perfectly captures the sweet gooey feeling of being totally in love! Sumi and I had some afterwards, super tasty! (can cats have chocolate?)

The birthday deluxe combo also came with a bromide, event stamp, and a random can badge(1 of 2 designs), if you love collecting be sure to get the combos that include event exclusive freebies!!

The merch sold so fast, mitsu enjoyers are very enthusiastic! (I clench my fist in rage but im so happy for you) one item in particular created a lot of excitement at every table, the gacha card packs! The spirit of gambling was also in the lab with us that night, many cheers, many tears.... besides that we had a lot of raffle entries, a couple hundred by my guess... Mitsu's signature scent N⁰104 was a hit, i got to smell the sample and its very tasty smelling, very Mitsucore. Smells kinda like eating a warm fluffy pastry out in the garden and it is pretty strong leaving a lasting impression. Like with all bday raffles, these are drawn after the event on IG live, the atmosphere was very tense, i was holding my breath wwww, congratulations to the winner🍻

Overall it was a super fun and very busy, everyone seemed to be enjoying their time in the lab and chatting with Mitsu. Fighting for event reservations/tickets can be very intimidating but i think its totally worth it. When it all comes together and you're there in that moment watching the result of so much planning and careful consideration, its quite moving ,, the production of it all gets me every time. You can really see the love our maids put into what they do. I greatly admire Mitsu, like i said before ,she played a great part in my summoning, she knows what she wants and goes for it even if she's feeling lazy www i hope she feels satisfied and proud of her event. I was honored to be a part of it. If your oshi ever has an event, please consider going! Don't miss out on precious memories ♡
